Description
Plumpy’Doz™ is a ready-to-eat nutritional supplement meeting the Lipid-based Nutrient Supplement Medium Quantity (LNS-MQ) definition. It reduces the incidence of acute malnutrition during high-risk periods and improves the effectiveness of CPS* in preventing malaria.
It is a supplement to breastfeeding and the usual diet.
*Chimio Seasonal Malaria Prevention (CPS)
Does not replace a varied and nutritious diet or breastfeeding. Breastfeeding immediately after birth, exclusively for the first 6 months, is recommended for at least 24 months.
